| SO i watched Underworld Evolution last night with my parents, and in this movie, scott speedman and kate beckinsdale(?) had a sex scene. nothing raunchy or anything, not like basic instinct or others. but they did seem to close up a lot on their flat (and hair-free) pelvises. Anyway, is it me or does anyone else feel totally uncomfortable watching sex scenes, or even kissing scenes in movies or TV with your parents in teh room? and the thing is, they ALWAYS make comments, though now it's directed towards carrie (usually). I guess it's all those years of them telling me to close my eyes when i was younger. Now that i'm actually old enough to watch that stuff, i still feel guilty if i keep 'em open. ::sigh::

| Last time i wrote, i was Lola-sitting and
putting off studying @ the Kaplan center. On my way home from
Long Island, stopped by in teh city and met up with May (hi May! sorry
haven't been able to see you since then)

(Crossing the street on the way to Penn Station)
since then, went to my friend Gina's graduation
party from Ross (med school in the Caribbean). (Congrats Gina! )
It was great seeing everyone from BU again. Day after that, we celebrated my cousin PJ's graduation from Harvard LAw
PJ, the rock star...err.. lawyer
hmm....week after that. . .Oh yes, i was called in for Jury Duty.
Un-freaking-believabe! it was a slip-and-fall case against RAritan Bay
MEdical Center for negligence. You'd think i would've been
dismissed as a juror because (1) My father worked as a physician @
Raritan Bay for the last 30 years and (2) I'm also a doctor (not that i
feel i deserve this title just yet, but if it could've gotten me out of
jury duty...). And yet, they chose me and so i had to sit through
the trial that ate up a good 3 days of time that i could've spent
studying.
Went up to Boston two weeks ago to watch the Iskwelahang Pilipino 30th
year Anniversary show (Tayo Na Sa Antipolo), for which my brother
Francis was the musical director. (congratulations, brother!)
and then last weekend, went to boston again to pick up Carrie from her
service camp. This time, the whole tribe went, including gabby,
joseph, lou, maryann, TP, tita leny, pops, mother and me. Fun
times, rib-eye steak barbecue (said homer simpson-style)
:::mmm......meeeaaatttt:::: And now i'm back to
studying.
Oh and also in this last month, i spent a crapload of $$$$$$ on
clothes. :) hehheh...i can't help it! all the stuff is so pretty
here. this is what i bought.

Not Pictured: brown leather sandals, 600 thread count queen-size bedsheets, and more vicky's! hehehehe
i have no willpower. and i'm happier for it.
that's all for now

| O Great St. Joseph of Cupertino who while on earth did obtain from God
the grace to be asked at your examination only the questions you knew,
obtain for me a like favour in the examinations for which i am now
preparing. In return I promise to make you known and cause you to
be invoked. Through Christ our Lord. St. Joseph of
Cupertino, pray for us. Amen.
O St. Joseph of Cupertino who by your prayer obtained from God to be
asked at your examination, the only preposition you knew. Grant
that I may like you succeed in the here mention the name of the examination.
In return I promise to make you known and cause you to be invoked.
O St. Joseph of Cupertino, pray for me.
